My One Year in Savannah for St. Patty’s Day

I worked for the Savannah Morning News for two years. In 2008 I was a blogger, walking the beer- and people-strewn streets from 6 a.m. until the conclusion of the parade, taking pictures and updating online readers when I was lucky enough to get a signal for my laptop. It’s not really my thing (green beer is cool, but not gluten free, and there’s so many people. So many people). But SAV is hugely popular for St. Pat’s Day, and above are some of the more family-friendly pictures I took that day.
