Weekly Photo Challenge: Change

The first image that popped in my head when I read the challenge was a big Home Alone face:

But that’s often our initial reaction: whether we lean toward scared or excited our heart is at least a little startled. Then we either kick and scream our way toward the change, or we throw our arms and heart wide open and fully embrace it.

I went through a phase where I felt like I was hearing “it’ll change your life” or “Life changing” on a very regular basis. And I used to get all indignant and say (in my head), “C’mon. How many times can your life really be changed?!”

  1. LOVE this! It’s so true, scared and excited both mean opening to new possibilities and getting comfortable with that. The past year has been full of some changes for me, and this is a good reminder to embrace them 🙂 Thanks!
