Mid-week Encouragement: Courage

“Courage isn’t always the lion’s roar. Sometimes it’s the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.'”

Sheldon courage

Combining encouraging words with a telling photograph can enhance the message of both the statement and the image. That’s what every Wednesday’s post will be until further notice.

  1. The courageous cat at the door reminds me of some lyrics in a favorite song (“I Have Confidence”), sung by Maria in a favorite movie (The Sound of Music):
“Strength doesn’t lie in numbers. / Strength doesn’t lie in wealth. / Strength lies in nights of peaceful slumber. / When you wake up / Wake up! It’s healthy!”

  2. i have a wonderful cat whom I adore, even when she brings me mice (eek) in the middle of the night. Just watching her nap is soothing.

    Great combination of quote/image.
