Weekly Photo Challenge: Joy

Funnily enough, my blog tomorrow is all about branding yourself with JOY. Tune in, por favor 😉

Joy comes in many forms. For this week’s photo challenge, before I even knew the topic, I was pretty dead-set on using the first photo below this text. To me, it encapsulates Christmas morning: grandma and grandpa playing a new board game with the grandkids, no matter how silly everyone looks. It is a joyful, jovial time and it’s one of my favorite things about living this life:

Joy in the form of much-needed holiday rest. And if you’ve ever cuddled with a puppy, you know the joy it brings:

Joy in the form of family get-togethers that are best described in the words of my cousin Joe:
I am so thankful to be part of a family who understands the deepest qualities of love, caring, kindness, and has an unwavering desire to come together and share our personal experiences from over the past year. I love this family and wouldn’t trade them for the world. Merry Christmas!

Happy (almost) New Year!

Lots and lots of joy:

AngelineM’s Blog – A perfect external expression of the joy on the inside

Hedgers Abroad – best smiles you’ll see all day!

Six Degrees Photography – Christmas morning

Dancing With the Wise Women – kiddos

Photography Journal Blog – Gingerbread Joy

L’s Thoughts – Graduation day! Full of joy, for sure.

  1. Family get togethers can be such a wonderful source of joy! And playing with the kids and grandkids and being silly is so much fun.
Thanks for the visit to my blog, and the pingback, too. Happy New Year!
