In my utopian world
there would be no perfect figure.
Young women wouldn’t strive
to look like one another.
Young souls wouldn’t shatter
in disappointment to look
like the thin.
Beauty would only be found
Supermodels in our society would be the Mother Teresa types,
so loving, beautiful, and gifted
To fat …
Too thin …
Too short …
Too tall …
It’s all a game,
a game that we no longer
have to play.
If we lived in my utopian world
human figures would be
the last talk of the day.

When you look in the mirror, what do you see?
Imperfections, I’m sure.
Because we’re our own worst critics and we just can’t help but pull ourselves apart at every chance we get.
I promise you, you are more beautiful than you think, stronger than you feel, braver than you imagine.
Live out that truth for just one day, and just wait and see how it does your soul good!
