This week, I want you to practice being something radical:
We need to be unafraid of others’ criticisms, and allow ourselves to be ourselves. Live our lives the way we see fit, not the way others think it needs to be. We have our safe people, the ones to whom we go for advice and guidance who know us inside and out and can help us make good choices. But if you’re debating between uniformity and standing out, PLEASE consider standing out.
Think of those people and the ripple effect they set into motion when they dared to be different. When nobody else had done it the way they wanted to do it, so they made their own way.
Go for it. Be you. Dare to stand out. Dare to be who God has called you to be. Dare to dream as high as the midnight sky, as far as the East is the from the West. Reach deep into your heart and pull out your strongest dream, your biggest wish, and dare to dream it. Dare to wish it. Dare to do it.
